Workshop Schedules

Enhance your yoga practice by taking a workshop at Inland Yoga.
Workshops last 2-3 hours and allow the teacher to deepen the discussion about their style of yoga and their topic. As with all classes try to avoid eating a large meal before the worksop begins, but you can bring water/drinks as needed.

The intention is about adapting yoga to fit your individual needs during yoga practice. This style can be very meditative as there is a strong breath work focus in the movements of the body. Thai Yoga Massage Workshop Julie Wright Sep 19, 2008 7:30pm - 9:00pm $35 / $45 During this workshop you will learn to give and receive a Thai Yoga Massage. Ashtanga Yoga for Beginners, Principles and Forms. Guest Sep 20, 2008 12:00pm - 4:00pm $40 / $45 Guest Teacher Nini About Nini Cortes Nini started practicing yoga in Los Angeles in 1998 with Bryan Kest. Throughout the last decade she studied with various Ashtanga teachers including Chuck Miller and Maty, David Swenson and continues to take workshops and Teacher Training with many senior teachers. She has completed teacher trainings with Tim Miller and Larry Schultz, and had attended classes with the master Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Rangaswamy. She is a dedicated student of this practice and believes in the magic of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga The first half of the workshop will include a guided overview of the foundational segments of the series with emphasis on sound alignment and direction in the subtler aspects of breath, bandhas and dristi. Iyengar Yoga Wall Ropes Workshop - Part A Guest Sep 28, 2008 2:00pm - 4:00pm $35 / $40 Deb Murray, P.T., is a intermediate Junior II Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor and licensed Physical Therapist. She has studied with the Iyengars in Pune India and the US. She has been practicing Iyengar Yoga since 1990. She currently teaches at the Iyengar Yoga Certificate Program through UC-Riverside Extension. Prerequisite for both classes: At least 3 months Iyengar yoga experience. Keshavacharya Das Kirtan Guest Nov 21, 2008 7:00pm - 9:00pm $15 / $20 A Kirtan is a call and response concert.
